A brief background about my website:
As you can tell, my name is Hugo and I happen to live surrounded by water in sunny So.
Florida.
When I dropped my sunglasses while fishing off a small boat and not being able to dive anymore, I decided
to rekindle an old ROV project born back in the 90's....
The HUGONUTZ.
It was actually a so-so success
due to the underpowered thrusters that could not fight the swift ocean currents. Now I'm into lakes - no currents - and
armed with new ideas for thrusters, I am ready to try it again.
I recycled as much stuff as I could to be use
for this project. Keep it simple and keep it economical was my driving desire. After all is done, and with no intention
to commercialize the rov, the fun of it is to be able to say:
"I did it and it works !"
