A close up of my idea how to mount the vertical thruster.
it seems like it is going to work,
but it will be evaluated after the first sea trial, ...aah...lake trial.
I used two 700 gph bilge pumps for the vertical thrusters
and 1100 gph for the two main thrusters.
The on board relay box hold six motor reversing relays (one is a spare) and one relay for the lights.
I was not amused with the
size of these relays, although they are rated for 25 amps (???), their phisical size made very hard to solder the wires.
Here I am getting ready to start wiring the motors, lights and camera power.
Later I will add the tether wires to control all
the relays.
THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE EASY !
My plan is to flood the relay box with melted wax after it is all done to waterproof the
whole thing.
