VIDEO SYSTEM
I could not revive my old (outdated) video systems, so I decided to go with this one. It is sold as rear view
camera system for vehicles, the monitor is 10+" wide and about 4" high. The camera is about 1" square and waterproof (?), and
the whole thing went for $120 !
I made the temporary removable hood you see on the right.
I recycled the Armatron base and
re-tooled it with electrical contacts for the joy sticks, the claw control is still missing in this pic. Mounted the monitor
on a 3" pvc with an adjustable mount so it can tilt and rotate as I may need.
So far, in dry land, it works great.
There is a digital
video recorder that will be mounted under this rig, but I have not yet received it.
