VIDEO RECORDER

I found this gadget for 25 bucks in Amazon, I had no idea if it was going to work with the video cam I had,but for the price, it was worth taking a chace.

I am glad I did !  It works great. I can record several hours in one SD card and the video can be played back on my computer or my 55" LCD !

The quality is good enough to show whatever I see underwater, specially when I find that lost treasure we are all looking for...

It was fairly straight forward to set up after I dowloaded a new firmware from ScanDisk.
It has some quirks to deal with, like you can't view and record at the same time (wierd!), but I was able to overcome this because my monitor has dual inputs, I set one for camera input and the other to set the recorder and I added a 'wye' to the camera output with one for the monitor and the other to the recorder.   I'm sure I will be posting some of my videos... I am getting excited !

It is only 5" wide by 2 1/2" deep ! It runs on 5vDC power wich I have to figure out how to get it from the 12v battery.... another project ( ! )
