EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT

Carrying all the parts that make up the ROV system from my shop to the water, was a design concern from the beginning.
It had to be compact enough for one person to carry and utilitarian enough to set up in just a few minutes.
I achieved this by incorporating an old picnic cooler as my main base, it does several functions at once.
1. It carries everything. The rov, console, tether, battery, cables and some tools.
2. When the rov is in the water, it becomes the operation center with the control console, monitor, recorder and hood mounted on its top.
3. It is also a place for me to seat on while controlling the rov.
4. The only con, I have ran out of room in my garage to store it ! I suggested to sell my wife's car so I have the extra space.... well, "you can do whatever you want, honey" doesn't mean what I thought it meant.
